How the gateway works
We offer 70+ models: commercially licensed open models deployed on infrastructure we operate, and flagship models such as GPT, Claude and Gemini accessed through commercially sourced upstream channels. Requests use Anthropic Messages for Anthropic models, native Gemini for Google models, and an OpenAI-compatible format for other LLMs.

From in-house tooling to a shared service
Managing multiple model providers can mean higher costs, variable regional latency and more operational work, while maintaining service availability remains a challenge. TokGate grew out of our efforts to address these issues in-house, before we made the service available to other teams.
